Hospital Turns Retired Equipment into Unexpected Revenue

A major hospital in Wilmington, Delaware, was preparing to upgrade its backup power system- including antiquated generators, switchgear, and transformers. LaurKat stepped in, facilitated the sale of the decommissioned equipment, and delivered far more value than traditional disposal methods. The gear is now back in service elsewhere—supporting new infrastructure instead of going to waste.

25 MW of Backup Power Delivered 18 Months Faster Than OEMs

A Northern Virginia data center needed ten 2.5 MW generators- immediately. With OEMs quoting lead times of nearly two years, LaurKat sourced brand-new units from surplus and canceled orders.
